Recyclops Earth Week Round Up

At Recyclops, everyday is Earth Day. We are so excited and proud to be working in an industry that helps better our communities and the people that live in them. Since 2019, Recyclops has recycled approximately 5,000,000 lbs of recyclable material, that’s equivalent to the weight of over 45 Blue Whales!

With that in mind, the Recyclops team decided to do something extra special this year to celebrate. From April 19th to April 24th, Recyclops increased its commitment to the environment for Earth Day in a number of ways, including a beach to bay clean up which collected over 200 lbs of recyclables from entering our oceans.

One of the other ways Recyclops will be giving back for Earth Day is through giveaways with brands which share our sustainability focus.

Earth Day Giveaways

From Monday, April 19th to Friday, April 24th Recyclops offered five different giveaways for the entire week of Earth Day.

Check out our five days of giveaways below:

Surfrider Miami Beach To Bay Cleanup

To close out the Earth Day celebration, Recyclops has partnered with Surfrider Miami to take part in a cleanup event located in Miami, Florida.

In the Bay to Beach Cleanup, volunteers split into teams to pick up litter and waste along the coast of Miami Beach from the Bay to Beach. Each team also had a dedicated Recyclops team member who looked out for recyclable material. They will separate this material into Recyclops Bags for recycling.

At the end of the clean up, the bags were weighed for a total of over 200 lbs of recyclables collected from the beach. To help reward those who volunteered at the event, Recyclops awarded a $20 gift card toward a local Miami business.
