Recyclops+ Now Launching in Salt Lake and Utah County!

One step closer to closing the loop of consumption. Get your batteries, light bulbs, textiles, styrofoam and clamshells picked up from your home.

Salt Lake and Utah County, gather your hard to recycle materials because Recyclops is here with Recyclops+ beyond the bin material pickups!

At Recyclops, we’re always looking for new ways not only to make sustainability happen but to make it easy for our members. We believe that sustainability only happens if it is convenient to people. That’s why we seek out new ways to provide our members more convenient solutions to their sustainability problems.

After years in this business there is one key area of circular consumption that we have seen to be an issue pretty much everywhere we’ve gone, and that’s that every recycling program has holes in relation to what materials can actually be recycled and that people are not aware that those holes even exist!

A sustainable dream is born

“Recycling is complicated, why can’t I recycle all types of plastic? I don’t know what I can recycle and what I can’t!” these are statements we hear often as we go into new locations.

We hear you! While WE know the reasons why certain things can and can’t be recycled, we firmly believe that it isn’t the consumers’ job to become recycling experts, and realistically this won’t happen for everyone sometimes because of a lack of access to this information, a lack of interest or a lack of time. And frankly why should you dedicate time to this? Isn’t wanting to help the environment enough? That’s why we are on a mission to get EVERYTHING recycled from people’s doorsteps without too much hassle. And this is where the Recyclops+ dream is born.

What is Recyclops+?

Recyclops+ is a new Beyond the Bin service that focuses on picking up materials that are hard to recycle from people’s homes in the Salt Lake and Utah counties area. We make it extremely easy to get materials that aren’t traditionally accepted by recycling programs, reused and recycled. We provide pickups of all these beyond the bin or hard to recycle materials and then we take care of giving them another life, thus diverting waste from landfills and from the oceans.

We will be collecting plastic bags & film, batteries, lightbulbs, textiles, styrofoam, and clamshells at the onset of this service in the Wasatch front. The objective is to go Beyond the Bin much further and collect more and more materials as this program spreads throughout the whole community.

Recyclops will collect hard-to-recycle materials and make sure they get another life. This is just the beginning of bringing you a more sustainable lifestyle. To learn more and get started with Recyclops+ check out our landing page. www.recyclops.com/plus.

Services will start in the following areas:

One step closer to a circular economy

We have long dreamed of a world in which disposing of all items in an eco-friendly, sustainable way that gives materials a new life is not only a reality but it is easy to do. We understand that recycling doesn’t solve all of the sustainability issues and that’s why we need to go beyond just recycling in order to accomplish our mission of making sustainable lifestyles happen. It starts with the materials that we consume, what they are made of and eventually we plan on being a full closed looped solution to all sustainability needs but we need to start step by step. And the next step in making a world more sustainable is by collecting ALL types of materials, even those that aren’t traditionally recycled in regular recycling programs recycled and reused through Recyclops+.

It starts with Recyclops+

We’re proud to present our newest service, Recyclops+ now being piloted in Salt Lake and Utah counties.

With this initiative we expect to continue to help reduce our customers carbon footprint by recollecting materials in a more carbon efficient way, recycling more materials and diverting more materials away from the landfill.

Now, our members can recycle beyond the bin and get pickups for their plastic film, light bulbs, batteries, styrofoam and more! Check out our new service at www.recyclops.com/plus.
